Once upon a time there was a country that paid all its bills in cash and on time. Factories were humming and small, medium and large businesses flourished across the land. Maybe you can even remember that time yourself. It wasn’t that long ago.
There was hardly any unemployment and people were generally happy with what they had.
Most families that had a house actually owned it free and clear. There was peace in the valley, in towns, cities, communities and families across the nation.
One person’s income, mainly the Father, was enough to support the whole family. Mom didn’t need to work, so she was able to run the household and raise the kids. Prices were low on everything. Gas was .25 cents a gallon, and you could get 10 bags of groceries including meat for $25 or less. Back then a Dollar was worth a Dollar.
One day a new idea came on the scene. You can buy now and pay later. You can get whatever you want now and pay for it later.
At first the idea of credit was frowned down upon by the older generation. They knew better.
As time passed, the younger generation (baby boomers) matured and the idea of credit seemed harmless and a great way to get ahead.
A seemingly harmless (Wimpy) fellow would ask Popeye if he could borrow 10 cents for a hamburger today and pay him back on Tuesday.
Many of you will remember Wimpy saying,
“I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today. “
This idea gradually caught on and along came the credit card several years later. Bank of America created the BankAmericard in 1958, a product which eventually evolved into the Visa system (“Chargex” also became Visa). MasterCard came to being in 1966 when a group of credit-issuing banks established Master Charge. This was the brainchild of the Bankers and the WAR OF PLASTIC began and was waged against the people.
As time progressed, people bought more and more items on credit.
This allowed the five most motivating sins to enter into the picture: Vanity, Jealousy, Greed, Lust and Fear. It works like Aids, Herpes and VD. A natural consequence will occur when Natural Laws are violated.
The Scriptures teach that interest (also known as usury) is forbidden, and for good reason. The lender will become the head and the borrower shall become the tail.
Before long, Mom had to go to work to help pay for all the new stuff the family accumulated. It seemed like a great idea to buy now and pay later because you could accumulate stuff and deduct the interest off your income tax. So in effect it was interest free.
Then the Bankers suggested to our “trusted” elected officials to discontinue the tax deduction.
The new pitch was to take out equity on your free and clear house and you could pay off your credit cards and still get an interest deduction.
And the Bankers continued to prosper.
It was a way to keep up with the Joneses.
Equity was taken and before you know it, the credit cards started piling up again. It didn’t seem to matter at first because the price of houses started to climb (and so did everything else).
There seemed to be no end to the price increase of houses, so the cycle started all over again. Millions of people found themselves maxed out on both their credit cards and with little to NO equity in their homes. Unfortunately reality popped up its ugly head and the over-inflated home market came to an end. You may remember that as the bubble bursting back in 2008.
From a creditor nation we became a debtor nation in 50 short years. Foreclosures are now rampant and so is bankruptcy, both personal and corporate. Money created from nothing and interest added on top is a disaster.
So many of us found that we could not continue to pay our bills.
This was all brought about by thinking that we could buy now and pay later. The sad ending to this story is that credit is created out of thin air and interest is added on top of what was created out of nothing.
The real genius of this evil is compounded by the fractional reserve system that enables the bank to lend out 10 times more of what was created out of nothing.

The whole process starts another round of money creation actually created by your signature.
Most of us can understand and see the visual effects of a war evident throughout history.
The first objective is to bomb the infrastructure.
Disrupt the means of production, factories and supply lines.
Cause widespread unemployment.
Dislocate the family
Cause the currency to fail.
To the victor goes the spoil.
In past wars all of these disrupting events were caused by using troops, planes, guns, bombs and tanks.
This Plastic War has produced the same results without firing a shot by just using compound interest on credit created out of nothing.
Our infrastructure is crumbling (thanks to NAFTA & GATT). Where small businesses, factories and heavy industry once stood there are now decaying rusted monuments of our recent great past.
Just look at Detroit and our Steel Industry — ghost towns.
Unemployment is at an all-time high and many families as a result are dysfunctional.
Our dollar, once backed by Gold and Silver, was the world reserve currency. It is now losing value every day. Cities and states are at or near bankruptcy. I’ll just mention Detroit going bankrupt as a recent example.
Will the victor be China?
Check out the MB5 visa which allows Communist Chinese investors to have a fast track to citizenship for investing in troubled businesses and/or starting up new businesses in our country. They are called free enterprise zones that are exempt from all the bureaucratic hoops that a home grown American enterprise has to jump through.
There are 258 free enterprise zones that are currently being developed in several states all with the blessings of the governors of those states. This allows untold numbers of Communist Chinese to legally enter our country and add to the already bad unemployment numbers.
Talk about unfair trade practices…
Infrastructure as well as land all over our country is being bought up by foreigners. If we continue to do the same things, we will continue to get what we got.
Real assets are being confiscated by the “lending” institutions such as the millions of homes that are in foreclosure and those that have already been foreclosed upon.
This process allows the banking system to continue to grow and receive unjust compensation. They truly get something for nothing. There is talk about allowing the banks who hold millions of foreclosed homes to rent them out to reduce the amount of homes on the market.

September usually comes in with the feeling of normalcy.
A feeling that everything is falling back into a normal routine.
The kids are going back to school, summer vacations coming to an end and so on.
To think or not to think, that is the question.
Thinks are on me!
I did not have a thinking problem in my early twenties until someone offered me my first think at Thirty.
At first I declined stating, "I'm sorry I'm not a thinker, and don't think.
After much coaxing by my friend, I gave in and had my first think.
I must admit, it was a new and stimulating experience for me.
Before I realized it, I wanted another think.
In the process of time, I found myself wanting to think more and more.
I found myself offering thinks to everyone in my family. Some of my family members took me up on the think offers, but many thought I was crazy to think so much. One family member in particular, was the largest opponent of thinking. I thought that being an educator, trained in the world of "higher education" would enjoy a think at least once in a while. Boy, was I wrong about that one.
I came to realize that I shouldn't pre judge who might enjoy a think.
