10 COMMANDMENTS UPON THE MEZUZAH (DOORPOSTS)
As children of the Most High we are commanded and expected to do and follow Yahweh's Ways. One of His instructions is to post the 10 Commandments upon our doorposts.
People post their last name or the house number beside the door. Some have other ornaments and images. Some have the American flag. Some post warning or welcome signs. None of these are commandments or instructions by Yahweh. So it should not be hard to accept that posting the 10 Commandments is what we need to be displaying, over everything else.
It must be understood that the Jews are NOT Israel. They are descendants of Cain and of Esau.
This is our history and heritage. We are the children of Jacob.
The Commandment of the Mezuzah comes from and symbolizes the Passover.
The Passover
The Exodus begins
Exodus 12:1 And Yahweh spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
The first month is Abib, which starts the day after the Spring Equinox which is March 20 or 21. John the Baptist was born on the Spring Equinox and six months later in September (Fall Equinox) was Yahshua the Christ.
12:3 Speak you unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
A foreshadow of Christ.
12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
Without blemish, just like Yahshua Messiah.
12:6 And you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening. (Lev 23:5 Nub 9:3 Deut 16:1,6)
12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts (mezuzah) and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
Unleavened bread was significant, as it symbolized the haste in which Israel fled Egypt, with no time to prepare bread with leaven.
12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.
12:10 And you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning you shall burn with fire.
This is symbolic of Christ's ascension, nothing was left behind.
12:11 And thus shall you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and you shall eat it in haste: it is Yahweh's passover.
Symbolic of being ready. Ready for deliverance.
12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am Yahweh.
12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token (sign) upon the houses where you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. (Lev 23:5 Num 9:1-5, 28:16 Deut 16:1-2)
12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and you shall keep it a feast to Yahweh throughout your generations; you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
12:15 Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread; even the first day you shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eateth leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul (person) shall be cut off from Israel.
12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of (by) you.
12:17 And you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this selfsame day have I brought your armies (hosts) out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.
12:19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eateth that which is leavened, even that soul (person) shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger (of kin), or born in the land.
12:20 Ye shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall you eat unleavened bread. (Ex 23:15, 34:18 Lev 23:6-8 Num 28:17-25 Deut 16:3-8)
12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families (clans), and kill the passover.
12:22 And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts (mezuzah) with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.
12:23 For Yahweh will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when He seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts (mezuzah), Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.
Hebrews 11:28 Through faith (allegiance) he (Moses) kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest He that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
12:24 And you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever.
12:25 And it shall come to pass, when you be come to the land which Yahweh will give you, according as He hath promised, that you shall keep this service.
These feasts and services were to take place when they came to the Promise Land, and still continues today.
12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean you by this service?
12:27 That you shall say, It is the sacrifice of Yahweh's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when He smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
The passover and unleavened bread were to be passed on to all the offspring of Israel forever.
If we keep the passover, why would we not keep the other feasts, memorials and commandments?
We must also observe the 7 day feast of unleavened bread, the day of atonement (fasting), and the feast of tabernacles. (See 'Feast Days' in Calendar menu, and in Slideshow)
We keep the 4th of July and other national holidays to remember the birth of our country and what our ancestors died for.
We even keep the pagan holidays of Christmas and Easter, Halloween and others!
Exodus 13:6 Seven days you shalt eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to Yahweh.
13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters.
13:8 And you shalt shew your son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which Yahweh did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto you upon your hand, and for a memorial (reminder) between your eyes, that Yahweh's law may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand hath Yahweh brought you out of Egypt.
A metaphorical usage of “all your thoughts”. The feast of unleavened bread is a reminder that should never be forgotten.
13:10 Thou shalt therefore keep this ordinance in his (it's) season (appointed time) from year to year.
13:11 And it shall be when Yahweh shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, as He sware unto you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
13:12 That you shalt set apart (be holy) unto Yahweh all that openeth the matrix, and every firstling that cometh of a beast which you hast; the males shall be Yahweh's. (Lev 27:26)
13:13 And every firstling of an ass you shalt redeem with a lamb; and if you wilt not redeem it, then you shalt break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children shalt you redeem.
13:14 And it shall be when your son asketh you in time to come, saying, What is this? that you shalt say unto him, By strength of hand Yahweh brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that Yahweh slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to Yahweh all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
13:16 And it shall be for a token (sign) upon your hand, and for frontlets between your eyes: for by strength of hand Yahweh brought us forth out of Egypt.
Frontlets are defined in Strong's as phylacteries. These have a small piece of scroll inside, with these scriptures on it. This is a big thing in “Jewish” tradition, and the scroll/boxes are made in the state of Israel and cost big dollars.
Metaphorically, the 'sign on your hand' means to do the works commanded by Yahweh, and the 'between your eyes' means to keep your mind on Yahweh's laws.
The 'traditions of the elders' has substituted ritual for following the intent of the words of Yahweh. Christ scolded the elders for this. Yahweh's law should be in your heart, not in a box or put on as a show, but be a truth to live by. Symbolism over substance.
Love Yahweh your God
John 14:15 If ye love Me, keep My commandments.
Deuteronomy 6:1 Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahweh your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land whither you go to possess it:
6:2 That you mightest fear Yahweh your God, to keep all His statutes and His commandments, which I command you, you, and your son, and your son's son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.
6:3 Hear therefore, O Israel, and observe to do it; that it may be well with you, and that you may increase mightily, as Yahweh God of your fathers hath promised you, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
6:4 Hear, O Israel: Yahweh our God is one Sovereign:
6:5 And you shalt love Yahweh your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
6:6 And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:
6:7 And you shalt teach them diligently unto your children, and shalt talk of them when you sittest in your house, and when you walkest by the way, and when you liest down, and when you risest up.
Psalm 78:4-6
4 We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of Yahweh, and His strength, and His wonderful works that He hath done.
5 For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
6:8 And you shalt bind them for a sign upon your hand (your works), and they shall be as frontlets (immoveable) between your eyes (your thoughts).
Proverbs 6:21 Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck.
6:9 And you shalt write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates.
The side posts are called mezuzah. The door posts. We are commanded to write/post the 10 commandments on the mezuzah, the sides of the gates and doors to our homes.
6:10 And it shall be, when Yahweh your God shall have brought you into the land which He sware unto your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give you great and goodly cities, which you buildedst not,
6:11 And houses full of all good things, which you filledst not, and wells digged, which you diggedst not, vineyards and olive trees, which you plantedst not; when you shalt have eaten and be full;
6:12 Then beware lest you forget Yahweh, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
6:13 You shalt fear (revere) Yahweh your God, and serve Him, and shalt swear by His name.
6:14 Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the people which are round about you;
6:15 (For Yahweh your God is a jealous God among you) lest the anger of Yahweh your God be kindled against you, and destroy you from off the face of the earth.
6:16 Ye shall not tempt Yahweh your God, as you tempted Him in Massah. (Deut 9:22, 33:8)
Exodus 17:7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted Yahweh, saying, Is Yahweh among us, or not?
Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt Yahweh thy God.
6:17 Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, and His testimonies, and His statutes, which He hath commanded you.
Psalm 119:4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
6:18 And you shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of Yahweh: that it may be well with you, and that you mayest go in and possess the good land which Yahweh sware unto your fathers,
6:19 To cast out all your enemies from before you, as Yahweh hath spoken.
Numbers 33:52-53
52 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places:
53 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.
6:20 And when your son asketh you in time to come, saying, What mean the testimonies, and the statutes, and the judgments, which Yahweh our God hath commanded you?
6:21 Then you shalt say unto your son, We were Pharaoh's bondmen in Egypt; and Yahweh brought us out of Egypt with a mighty hand:
6:22 And Yahweh shewed signs and wonders, great and sore, upon Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his household, before our eyes:
6:23 And He brought us out from thence, that He might bring us in, to give us the land which He sware unto our fathers.
6:24 And Yahweh commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear Yahweh our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is at this day.
Job 35:7-8
7 If thou be righteous, what givest thou him? or what receiveth he of thine hand?
8 Thy wickedness may hurt a man as thou art; and thy righteousness may profit the son of man.
6:25 And it shall be our righteousness, if we observe to do all these commandments before Yahweh our God, as He hath commanded us.
Leviticus 18:5 Ye shall therefore keep My statutes, and My judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Yahweh.
If (H3588) is very important!
Love and obey Yahweh
Deuteronomy 11:1 Therefore you shalt love Yahweh your God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His judgments, and His commandments, always.
Zechariah 3:7 Thus saith Yahweh of hosts; If thou wilt walk in My ways, and if thou wilt keep My charge, then thou shalt also judge My house, and shalt also keep My courts, and I will give thee places to walk among these that stand by.
11:2 And know you this day: for I speak not with your children which have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of Yahweh your God, His greatness, His mighty hand, and His stretched out arm,
11:3 And His miracles, and His acts, which He did in the midst of Egypt unto Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;
11:4 And what He did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their chariots; how He made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued after you, and how Yahweh hath destroyed them unto this day;
Psalm 106:11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
11:5 And what He did unto you in the wilderness, until you came into this place;
11:6 And what He did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households, and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the midst of all Israel:
Numbers 26:9 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against Yahweh: (Num 16)
11:7 But your eyes have seen all the great acts of Yahweh which He did.
11:8 Therefore shall you keep all the commandments which I command you this day, that you may be strong, and go in and possess the land, whither you go to possess it;
Joshua 1:6-7
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses My servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
11:9 And that you may prolong your days in the land, which Yahweh sware unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that floweth with milk and honey.
11:10 For the land, whither you goest in to possess it, is not as the land of Egypt, from whence you came out, where you sowedst your seed, and wateredst it with your foot, as a garden of herbs:
11:11 But the land, whither you go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven:
11:12 A land which Yahweh your God careth for: the eyes of Yahweh your God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of the year.
11:13 And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto My commandments which I command you this day, to love Yahweh your God, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul,
11:14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that you mayest gather in your corn, and your wine, and your oil. (Lev 26:4)
11:15 And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle (livestock), that you mayest eat and be full.
11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
Job 31:27 And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
11:17 And then Yahweh's wrath be kindled against you, and He shut up the heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest you perish quickly from off the good land which Yahweh giveth you.
11:18 Therefore shall you lay up these my words in your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets (fixed) between your eyes.
His words (laws) should be in our intellect, our inner being-emotional center, a perpetual remembrance.
Verse 18 is misused by Talmudists (Jews), and instead of a metaphorical passage, it is taken literally by them. It was never intended by Moses to literally bind little boxes of scripture on your arms and head. You are to DO these commandments with your hands, and KEEP them on your mind.
11:19 And you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when you sittest in your house, and when you walkest by the way, when you liest down, and when you risest up.
11:20 And you shalt write them upon the door posts (mezuzah) of your house, and upon your gates:
11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which Yahweh sware unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.
Proverbs 3:1-2
1 My son, forget not My law; but let thine heart keep My commandments:
2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.
4:10 Hear, O My son, and receive My sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.
The 10 Commandments posted on our doorposts is not metaphorical. Neither was the blood of the passover lamb.
The written law was not given to the children of Israel yet, this came later at Mt. Sinai.
The symbolism of the blood on the doorposts showed obedience and it also showed who the blood protected, the children of Jacob.
The 10 Commandments were given to the children of Israel. Christ died for His kinsmen that would follow His sayings, instructions, laws, statutes, and example. He didn't die for those that “just believed”.
When our ancestors struck the mezuzah with the blood, they were performing His instructions. The same thing goes for us today. The only difference is we do not sacrifice animals and use blood. We make spiritual sacrifices and follow the Commandments.
Proverbs 8:32 Now therefore hearken unto Me, O you children: for blessed are they that keep My Ways.
Psalm 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in The Way, who walk in the law of Yahweh.
119:2 Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and that seek Him with the whole heart.
Luke 11:28 But He said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
8:33 Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
8:34 Blessed is the man that heareth Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts (mezuzah) of My doors.
8:35 For whoso findeth Me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of Yahweh.
8:36 But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death.
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Prince doth come.
Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.
10:2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.
10:3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.
10:4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.
10:5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.
10:6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they (the Pharisees) understood not what things they were which He spake unto them.
10:7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.
10:8 All that ever came before Me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.
10:9 I am the door: by Me if any man enter in, he shall be saved (preserved), and shall go in and out, and find pasture.
10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Christ is the door. Christ followed the 10 Commandments. Christ's blood protects the door of His sheep. If we are true Christians, we understand that the door is the path to life. We cannot enter any other way. We must have obedience and allegiance. We must acknowledge the power and safety that comes with observing His Ways.
Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
When Yahshua returns, if we are not following, observing and teaching the instructions we received throughout scripture, we will join those that will be destroyed. Just like the night of Passover.
It is His laws and instructions that will protect, preserve and ultimately deliver us.
Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
Septuagint: 1 See how the just man has perished, and no one lays it to heart: and righteous men are taken away, and no one considers: for the righteous has been removed out of the way of injustice.
Psalm 12:1 Save me, O Yahweh; for the godly man has failed; for truth is diminished from among the children of men.
57:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
57:3 But draw near hither, ye sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
The Septuagint and others read, sons of the sorceress as lawless children.
The seed of the adulterer and the whore.
Verse 4 points out a lawless (false) seed. This would be a seed conceived outside of the law. The seed of an adulterer and a whore would be outside the law, race mixing.
57:4 Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood,
Septuagint: 4 Wherein have ye been rioting? and against whom have ye opened your mouth, and against whom have ye loosed your tongue? are ye not children of destruction? a lawless seed?
57:5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks? (Lev 18:21)
The Hebrew texts do not have with idols.
Verse 5 has everything to do with sexual rituals in the groves.
Our people were carried off into paganism by lawless children who were a seed of falsehood.
The children of Jacob are the vessels fitted for mercy.
The children of Cain and of Esau are the vessels fitted for destruction.
57:6 Among the smooth stones of the stream is thy portion; they, they are thy lot: even to them hast thou poured a drink offering, thou hast offered a meat offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
57:7 Upon a lofty and high mountain hast thou set thy bed: even thither wentest thou up to offer sacrifice.
Idol worship and fornication were always connected. And included race mixing.
Ezekiel 16:16 And of thy garments thou didst take, and deckedst thy high places with divers colours, and playedst the harlot thereupon: the like things shall not come, neither shall it be so.
The Septuagint reads the last part as: “... therefore thou shalt never come in, nor shall the like take place.
57:8 Behind the doors also and the posts (mezuzah) hast thou set up thy remembrance: for thou hast discovered thyself to another than Me, and art gone up; thou hast enlarged thy bed, and made thee a covenant with them; thou lovedst their bed where thou sawest it.
The Septuagint: 8 and behind the posts of thy door thou didst place thy memorials. Didst thou think that if thou shouldest depart from Me, thou wouldest gain? thou hast loved those that lay with thee;
Race mixing. Society accepts it, the “churches” do too. They marry them. They admit them.
57:9 And thou wentest to the king with ointment, and didst increase thy perfumes, and didst send thy messengers far off, and didst debase thyself even unto hell.
Septuagint: 9 and thou hast multiplied thy whoredom with them, and thou hast increased the number of them that are far from thee (outside the race), and hast sent ambassadors beyond thy borders, and hast been debased even to hell.
57:10 Thou art wearied in the greatness of thy way (length of thy way); yet saidst thou not, There is no hope: thou hast found the life of thine hand; therefore thou wast not grieved.
Jeremiah 2:25 Withhold thy foot from being unshod, and thy throat from thirst: but thou saidst, There is no hope: no; for I have loved strangers, and after them will I go.
57:11 And of whom hast thou been afraid or feared, that thou hast lied, and hast not remembered Me, nor laid it to thy heart? have not I held My peace even of old, and thou fearest Me not?
57:12 I will declare thy righteousness, and thy works; for they shall not profit thee.
Septuagint: 12 And I will declare thy righteousness, and thy sins, which shall not profit thee.
57:13 When thou criest, let thy companies deliver thee; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that putteth his trust in Me shall possess the land, and shall inherit My holy mountain;
57:14 And shall say, Cast ye up, cast ye up, prepare the way, take up the stumblingblock out of the way of My people.
The stumbling block here is the law, the failure to obey it.
In verse 8, the people did not live by the Commandments. They became idolatrous and race mixers. The same thing goes on today. “Christians” claim they live for God, but their actions do not show it.
These visions are dual prophecies and instructions. The near future of Ezekiel regarding the rebuilding of Jerusalem after captivity. And the model of the New Jerusalem after Judgment Day.
Ezekiel 43:1 Afterward He brought me to the gate, even the gate that looketh toward the east:
43:2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and His voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with His glory.
Describing the return of Yahshua Christ.
43:3 And it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city: and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.
43:4 And the glory of Yahweh came into the house by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east.
43:5 So the spirit took me up, and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of Yahweh filled the house.
43:6 And I heard Him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.
43:7 And He said unto me, Son of man, the place of My throne, and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever, and My holy name, shall the house of Israel no more defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcases of their kings in their high places.
43:8 In their setting of their threshold by My thresholds, and their post (mezuzah) by My posts (mezuzah), and the wall between Me and them, they have even defiled My holy name by their abominations that they have committed: wherefore I have consumed them in Mine anger.
After agreeing to follow Yahweh's laws, they defiled the covenant and commandments by allowing their abominations to enter.
43:9 Now let them put away their whoredom, and the carcases of their kings, far from Me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.
43:10 Thou son of man, shew the house to the house of Israel, that they may be ashamed of their iniquities: and let them measure the pattern.
43:11 And if they be ashamed of all that they have done, shew them the form of the house, and the fashion thereof, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.
Septuagint: 11 And they shall bear their punishment for all the things that they have done: and thou shalt describe the house, and its entrances, and the plan thereof, and all its ordinances, and thou shalt make known to them all the regulations of it, and describe them before them: and they shall keep all My commandments, and all My ordinances, and do them.
43:12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.
Matthew 5:14 Ye (children of Israel) are the light of the world (society). A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
We Israelites are to set the example. To be the light of society, the 'city on the hill'. We cannot do this without following the Commandments. The law of the house.
Ezekiel 45:18 Thus saith Yahweh GOD; In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish, and cleanse the sanctuary:
Leviticus 16:16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
45:19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin offering, and put it upon the posts (mezuzah) of the house, and upon the four corners of the settle of the altar, and upon the posts (mezuzah) of the gate of the inner court.
45:20 And so thou shalt do the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye reconcile the house.
Simple, H6612 pronounced peth-ee', peh'-you, peth-aw-ee'
From H6601 decieved; silly (that is, seducible): - foolish, simple (-icity, one).
Leviticus 4:27 And if any one of the common people sin through ignorance, while he doeth somewhat against any of the commandments of Yahweh concerning things which ought not to be done, and be guilty;
45:21 In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten.
The leaven also is symbolic of the hypocrisy of the Pharisees.
Leaven is metaphorically of inveterate mental and moral corruption, viewed in its tendency to infect others.
Christ admonished the Jew Pharisees for their leaven. Their leaven was their traditions and doctrines. Their leaven then and today is Judaism. Judaism is NOT Christianity. It is the corruption of Christianity. Our people have become infected with false doctrine.
This had led us to be identified with everything that is NOT Christian. In other words, we have become pagan.
With the lack of true knowledge and understanding, we have abandoned the instructions of Yahweh and adopted the ways of the children of Satan.
We can thus see that the doorpost of a building was a significant part of the building. This is further confirmed by the fact that a number of practices centered around the posts of the gate/door. We see that Eli sat at the doorpost of the temple when Hannah entered to pray. We also see a number of references of people sitting in the gates of the city. There were also signs posted on the temple that warned non-Israelites not to enter. The laws and statutes are for Israelites. Our God is the God of Jacob.
Doors and gates serve the purpose of keeping precious things in and bad things out. They act as a sort of guardian to the space that lies beyond; room, house or city.
The door to life can only be entered by obedience and allegiance to Yahweh and His Commandments.
Posting the 10 Commandments on your home shows that you are an Israelite that follows The Way, loves his God, and is under His protection.
